United Methodist Church Was built in 1894 so the church itself is well over 100 years old. In the 1950s a school was attached and constructed. The school had a basement then 2 floors. In and around 1984 it may be 86 but sometime in that time era a fire burnt the church down which was caused by a carpenter using a propane blower on the roof. It caught fire burning the church to the ground. The miraculous thing that occurred was that the stain glass windows all were still in tact. This church is absolutely gorgeous not the largest or oldest in the Buffalo area but its larges pipes, woodwork, old organs, red carpeting make it a hidden wonder. Since this is our first church investigation and a very positive place with lots of children using the school, and preschool in the basement we assume that the activity here is very minor it exist but in harmony rather unlike some other places we have visited in the past. This church also has the boy scouts and cub scouts operate and hold there meetings here. I took interest to the church because my son is a cub scout so I have had time to walk around get a feeling for the place. You tend to hear walking, or sense something standing near you on the dark emergency exit stairwells, cold spots things of that sort. Not evil feelings but rather a curiosity feeling. We will occasionally investigate this church every so often and keep and eye out for activity our first investigation went quite well I admit of this this nice church.
