The Bethany Mansion is 100 year old plus home pretty much in the middle of no mans land. Its big box like shape and chimney running right through the center gives it a plantation type of feeling. I first learned about this place when we drove past it on the way to a haunted park and asylum we investigated. The mansion seemed to be fairly abandoned boarded on one side, rooms empty so we said it is worth investigating. But we just were lucky enough to look inside adore the woodwork, old doors, cabinets, and a part of history that still stands.

We were not so lucky to get inside this foreboding place plus someone was using it perhaps remodeling it, adding on or something but despite the fact all I really want to do is prove that there are ghost that roam here inside or outside it does not matter. The storm cellar here has no stairwell leading into the mansion. Much of the mansion is very weathered such as the garage has collapsed, so has the back porch, and most of the windows are missing on the one side and boarded. Our team did not feel to cozy here but I found only certain areas to have alot of activity. Mainly the front of the mansion, and farther back down a dirt road that runs along the home.

The reason though I chose to investigate the area was because the area is very old it dates back to the early 1800s and at one time the farms around here bought children to do there work at the stage coach house up the road. The children often were mistreated and were abused worked probably to death even. I figured with an asylum so close and a area with a dark history that many ghost probably walk the mansions property. Whoever lived here at one time was probably connected to the asylum in one way maybe worked there, helped out on the grounds, or even provided food for it. We got our ghost here and now we can bring them to you to see how are good  intuitions came true.
