Woodlawn Cemetery

I did not know much about this cemetery even if it was haunted. However Jason and myself entered this ritzy cemetery very late. The cemetery was full of oak trees and it had I noticed a variety of sections but unlike some cemeteries I been to this one was unusually dark due to the tree coverage. I did not experience much activity here although I can say that I did not feel along. We encountered some very big cold spots and here we are in the middle of August and I had a jacket on and still felt so cold I was shivering. I felt like we were surrounding constantly by something unseen. We walked to a variety of stones most had crowns or pretty engravings on them. Some of the older stones were very worn down so we could not read them. So we did manage to find the oldest part of the cemetery. Which was gorgeous. Eventually we worked our way out of this cemetery and we did not take alot of photography but cemeteries are a way to calm the stress they are a place of peace and that is what this place gave me. So now I could go home relaxed after such a adventurous night.

We headed back to the van and headed home after I drove past an old historical building which was abandoned and was now turned into a historical society which I thought we would check out sometime. But none the less I did get to drive past it and see what it looked like. By this time we were all very tired out it was a rough investigation alot of mishaps but we conquered all 3 places despite of them. When I got home I had a nice big glass of concord wine. I guess the moral of the story is to always keep pushing and never give up sometimes in my belief there are forces beyond our control higher forces. Perhaps they try to do anything in their power to keep you away could be indian spirits, could be ghost trying to save you from an accident occurring, or it could be something we do not understand yet. But the carpenter house, eternal flame and Woodlawn cemetery all proved to be quite big challenges as compared to some of the places we have visited recently.
