The parish of Trinity Episcopal Church was organized in 1836 and the building itself wasn't erected till 1886. This was the second Episcopal church in Buffalo NY as opposed to St. Paul's Cathedral which was 2 miles away. I do not have a lot of historical information on this church just that it was accept into the historical society in 1961 as a landmark. This church is not as large as some of the churches in the area that we have investigated however it does have a chapel, sanctuary, building and the Chapter & Verse Book Store all attached to one another. In the middle of all these structures is a beautiful court yard with a giant cross. The tallest tree in the front of the property was given to the church a century ago from St Mary's Episcopal Church in Anchorage Alaska. The stained glass windows are very soft colors as opposed to most churches in the Buffalo area there are pinks, forest greens, Etc The church seats 600 to 800 parishioners. Again another European looking church in Buffalo NY. The church provides many services such as in 1972 it started the compass house which is totally non profit and helps the provide services for youths also the church provides day care and many other services.

I heard a little about this church but it did not cross my mind to investigate till I passed it then thought what harm would it do to walk around get a feel for the grounds and see what kind of entities roam the area. We found this church to be very haunted despite how well lit the front of the church is, or the trees that are lit, and courtyard. There is many ghost that haunt this church. It has a very old look to it as parts of it are brick, other ones are medina sandstone. On one side of the building you can see a tall metal staircase going up and on the other side you can see one going into the basement. What we did during this investigation is we tried to prove you with an apparition in every area of the church which we accomplished. We even captured something around the Herd Of Buffalo which is one of the many statues of over 100 Buffalos around the area.

Does this church have a history? A big yes it was built in the 1800s at one time a lot of the houses in that area were not there. Mark Twain use to visit frequently in this area. Although this is not the oldest church it is very pretty. However unlike a lot of the local churches this one does not have a very high steeple or bell tower unfortunately. But it does have more then enough ghost with perhaps are devoted departed parishioners of this historic church.
