Honestly I do not have alot of information on this burial ground. There is a cemetery further up the road that is full of history but it seems Tangerine Cemetery lays forgotten perhaps even neglected from birds eye view.

Back in the 1800s cemeteries were often segregated so lets just say that this cemetery was set aside for the black citizens of the area. While Zellwood Evergreen up the road was for the white citizens. There is a high percentage of grave markers that contain military vets.

The cemetery is gated and sits beyond a narrow dirt road leading to a huge clearing with a hill in the middle of it. Is it eerie? You bet this is something you see in a horror movie. No car can see the cemetery from the road and whatever ghostly happens back here stays back here.

Most of the graves are from the 1900s but there is a section of graves that dates back to the 1890s most of them fairly worn due to the limestone deteriorating over the years
