St Agnes Cemetery was established in the mid 1800s. The cemetery is over 20 acres and sits on some rolling hills. It consist mainly of Irish settlers and is one of the largest catholic cemeteries in the Utica area. I do not have much information on the area accept that the church now owns the cemetery near by. This cemetery is gorgeous many angels, statues, monuments and crosses fill the grounds as many roads twist and turn through the property. It is rumored that a lady is seen walking the cemetery at night and I believe this is true based on an amazing photograph taken by Mark our Gearman and investigator. The cemetery is much different then anyone I been in I actually felt happy here not sad or uptight. Photo after photo we captured apparitions and most of them seemed to be extremely cooperative. It is my belief because of how well kept this cemetery is that the spirits are very happy as well. Many flowers cover stones, priest burials, nuns, are also buried here. You could actually walk around here and find a stone call that person by their name take a photo and capture that entity. We also have to assume that a lot of the burials here were from the Utica Lunatic Asylum since it is close by so as you can see their is a connection.
