James Robinson and the Masonic Lodge owned a large parcel of land in the town of Seville. At the time families buried the dead near their homes in the 1800s because their was no town cemetery. Those graves are located on a plot of the south side of Seville Cemetery today. Whether they were exhumed or whether left their as the cemetery formed into a graveyard in 1906 remains to be somewhat a mystery. Since the cemetery is mainly non-denominational when it first opened you will see a wide mix of religions like some stones have statues, some have crosses, some are flat stones, some are Episcopal stones etc.

The local Methodist Church formed a separate cemetery just a couple miles down the road for there parish members. Although their are stones from the 1800s I was only able to find one so far which was a lady by the name of Mary E. Woolwine buried in 1896 so that is enough proof that the cemetery is over a century old.

Their is a thick tree line within the cemetery further down the dirt road that is a plot of land for earlier black burials. So their is some segregation within the cemetery itself. The black section of the cemetery is very woods, dark, has lots of huge oak trees with hanging moss, lots of leaves and high grass. Many stones are buried or hidden and this seems to be one of the more haunted parts of the cemetery.

The cemetery also runs along a very large lake towards the back so it sits in a rather secluded area with quite a few churches on the same road. I would say easily their is over a 1000 permanent guest. But in my opinion it is also very active I mean their is an odd darkness about it not evil but you can feel something is out their hibernating, watching, and surrounding the cemetery. It is a real gloomy place lots of giant willow and oak trees. Walking around has a peaceful feeling but occasionally you will hear a branch break, a ghostly giggle, or even the moan of a man so like most country cemeteries this one is a jewel and lived up to its expectations.

Their is also a little road in the woods that has really bad feelings back here. Their is a mattress, chairs, furniture, garbage and other signs that perhaps the locals use this place for maybe rituals, drinking, partying, etc etc. So definitely lots of little surprises here.
