Restlawn Cemetery appears to be an all black
cemetery for the town of Sanford and was formed in the later part of the
1800s. Their are dozens of upper burial graves here in a very well lit
setting. Rumor has it that the cemetery is haunted but I believe that
across the street the other four cemeteries which are in a very woodsy
surrounding have more activity.
Their is probably thousands buried here so its a pretty large cemetery. The Jesus statue in the center of the cemetery is perhaps the focal point for energy and supernatural activity. I do not have alot of history on this cemetery so will have to wait till we gather more information. By the looks of the cemetery itself I can tell that its Baptist in nature with all the burial grounds I been to you start to take notice on the style of stones and with what goes with each religion. This perhaps is the largest cemetery in Sanford which is a very Motown type of city so many of the graves were Sanford's early settlers. © By Rick-AngelOfThyNight
