Our Lady Of Pompeii Parish was erected in 1953 not as old as some of the churches and parishes in the Buffalo area. But is it haunted that is what we want to focus on? A big yes! Kind of contradicting according to the Catholic religion. I have spent alot of time on the grounds here and it did not strike me as haunted till one evening I captured a face over a year ago. Then another time I use to meet a lady friend up there for a little stargazing a few times and would sit alone waiting for her and always felt so watched and uncomfortable. Therefore this is one of the reasons we chose to take the time to find out what kind of entities haunt the property at night.

The church itself has more of a Spanish look rather then the typical cathedral or Romanesque style.  It is one of the more modern churches as well. There is no steeples, bells, the candles are fake and cost a quarter to light and there is even a school and bingo hall right on the property. Sighs I still have yet to hit a bingo here. The church has a basement a few rooms and although we did not investigate the inside we were able to draw the ghost outside to photograph for us.

What is surprising about this church is a block away is a church and across the street is St Mary's Parish center so as you can see there is a lot of parishes which means probably a lot of ghost that roam the area. Who are these entities church going people at one time? Students that once attended the parish? Maybe even the 2 reverends that are buried behind the church? We found that only certain areas are haunted on the grounds such as the back door, the our lady of Lourdes prayer area, and the field behind the church.

This was a very small investigation as my son and I investigated it on our own. Him and I enjoy listening to the electronic bell music that plays at different hours of the day and on Christmas  it plays holiday music which really gives the whole area a joyful warm feeling. My son caught a vortex and 2 ectoplasm shots as well so the ghost are very playful, warm, and most likely very happy that someone recognizes them. Now finally I can share these lovely entities with the world and this beautiful parish.
