The Our Lady Of Fatima Shrine was established in 1954 and has become quite a active place for people to worship, attend healing services, take photos of the grounds, confessions, Daily Rosary, Saturday Devotionals and even pilgrimages. They say 1000s a day visit here walking the grounds and coming to pray  at a the main alter, a  Italian Carra marble,  world-famous 24 by 7.5-foot Peace Mural .  The left side shows the consequences of a lack of peace.  The right side depicts a tranquil world , a scene of harmony, culture, plenty, and peace. The shrine sits on 15 acres contains over 100 life like statues of Saints from every country and race. Some of them bronze some of them stone. During the holidays the property has much decor and it is very pretty lit up at night.

The shrine was fashioned for the Fatima Of Lisbon and was operated by the Barnabites Brothers. The area has a pond in the back, a large fountain in the front, murals in the front depicting different religious scenes and even a giant cross which lays on the ground. The statue Fatima sits atop on the observation deck and is 63 steps to reach it. That statue alone weighs 10 tons and is 10 feet in height. Many people visit here to picnic, get away for some peace and quiet or sit down and eat a fish fry in the cafeteria can we say Mmmm. There is benches all over, a shelter, and nice some woods around the area to walk around in and relax with nature.

The reason I wanted to investigate this place was not necessary for the ghost but because as a child I have memories of my mother taking me here and grandparents when I was 3 years old. I remember chasing my sister around the statues and going inside and getting little souvenirs in the gift shop as a child. So I wanted to take those memories and try and bring back a few of them since sometimes that is all we have as we escape our childhoods and past. We wanted to try and do an investigation also that was a place of peace, serenity, a place of purity untouched from the evils of man and thus our results of our investigation were just that very special.

Now we go onto the grounds and shrine area. Is it haunted? Yes. Has anybody investigated it before? Probably not until our group decided to find out how haunted this place is. A lot of people feel because its a holy shrine an a place of worship that there are no ghost here and some perhaps feel like it is a sin so really nobody has put thought into it being haunted. Why would it be haunted that is the question? Well 1000s a day visit this place some from very far away. People pray some of them for passed on loved ones some of these people have spirits around them of there own. Perhaps some of these spirits find peace and tranquility here. Some of the Barnabite priest are buried at the shrine I believe 2 of them perhaps there spirits watch over this place and comfort those that come here to worship. Perhaps the Saints and Angels themselves frequently visit this place. Remember saints were humans and still have souls just like another other human or entity we have dealt with. So is it haunted a big big yes.

When you go into our investigation you will understand that many different entities haunt this shrine. Each area I went I captured something on film. This so to show you that there is more then one ghost here and more then just one place on the grounds is haunted. I honestly could have taken over 200 ghost photos here that night the reason for this? Simple the entities are warm, friendly, no anger, no discomfort and yes they are at peace. They have no problems having a photo taken of them or even a few. However I was not as pleased with the ghost on this investigation but more so the beautiful statues, grounds and the feeling of being at peace. Some areas were cold here some were very warm maybe I did not feel as cold here because perhaps the spirits around me kept me warm. So is this a place of miracles? Maybe so but a bigger miracle is for the world to be able to see the research and work conducted here on our investigation and too be able to see the many different faces that haunt the Fatima Shrine which once again will prove to you there is life after death.
