Ormond Indian Burial Mound

On the way here we made a little pit stop at a park near the great Granada Bridge which goes over the Halifax River.  Amanda was telling me a story about a man who is buried in the concrete of it and fell in. We did not investigate the park I thought about it but it looked like a lovers make out spot so hey now I know where I can take my next date haha ideas and more ideas I swear. But anyways we took a break went for a walk out on the fishing docks which goes really far out into the river. There were some folks fishing it was well lit and the breeze off the water and nearby ocean felt so good. I do not get to see things like this all the time since I moved here so I was just happy getting out a little and taking a break from that haunted plantation.

We then headed on off in the truck to the Ormond Burial Mound which right away caught my eyes. This is one massive mound and you can only imagine how there is pottery, artifacts, and even warrior chiefs all buried within this. Right away I walked up on top the mound and Amanda took my photo. I was higher then some of them houses in the area and it was a nice little view from up above. Another paranormal group in the area terminated an investigator for doing this I do not know why since it would be no different then walking in a graveyard.

I did not notice anything to out of the ordinary I took photos of the memorial, the park, the mound etc there was a little bit of patchy cold spots and there was a not so alone feeling as if I was just being watched to make sure I was respecting this mound which of course we always do. I did notice something strange though a few times I took some photos and seen figures in the flash one of them seemed to come right at me. I thought that was a little odd one of them looked like a mask of some kind standing on top of the mound and like i said it was real brief in the flash. But I seen it so I do not think I was alone here I do believe that these were Indian entities guarding it. I felt very at peace as I always do dealing with ancient spirits there is a sense of calm once you began to understand entities.

We took a break then Amanda and Steve showed me a couple odd houses which sit in the middle of the water on a dock. Amazingly they survived the hurricanes but definitely you would not catch me leaving in the middle of the water on a floating box. We then finally headed off to Tomoka State Park In Search of the Oswald Plantation and The Nocoroco Indian Village.
