Oak Hill Cemetery one of the earlier ones established in this city which was established even before the town was named. The first person buried here was Elizabeth the infant daughter of Jonathan Washington Fountain and Sarah J. Johnson who died in 1870. The oldest concrete stones have no information on them and they appear to have flowers recently placed on their graves.

The cemetery used to be called the Clinton Cemetery since many of the burials are from that family name. But some other family names here are Adams, Huskey, and Putnam families. There are 11 Civil War Soldiers buried here 5 of them Union and 6 of them Confederate.

Surprisingly there is very little vandalism here. Our first investigation I talked with a cop and he told me there is alot of damaged stones but honestly what they looked like to me is weathered from age, wind and rain.

The cemetery has an eerie feeling as it sits by some train tracks on one side and woods on the other. So this is one of these places anything is possible on a good supernatural night. I would like to think of this place as haunted it is not very large perhaps a couple hundred graves.
