Mt. St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery
This cemetery had white iron gates at the entrance and basically consist of a road that goes around the entire burial ground. In the center of the cemetery is a giant hill with a wood cross on top of it.

Like most Catholic cemeteries this one is just that beautiful architecture but still their is no difference between this one or the others. Cemeteries like this one were erected due to religious differences. You might find one cemetery is more haunted then another so its a stellar place to start considering from afar you can view the St. Mary's Church in the distance.

I been in the church its very eerie inside for a church and allot burials that are here were members of this church. Their is allot of crosses and saints here. There is also these stone slabs found all over the cemetery which lay against the trees. Those depict a story as well much like most of the long epitaphs found on the stones.

I seen some newer gravestones here mixed in with older ones. Their were allot of trees and the cemetery was greener. Unlike the other cemeteries this one was a little different then the other ones nearby.

There was some older folks hiking around and another paranormal group all in black not even dark outside lol.

I will return here these kind of cemeteries produce really good results its a nice hike in away from the city. The cemetery is not as spread out as the other ones their are graves all over and everyside of the hill. Nearby you can see mines all around also including a fenced off shaft not something you expect to see around burial grounds.

There were many wood grave sites some just in piles or broken in half. Many of the graves or plots rather that were built here are made of giant stones or cobble stone. Its a pretty historic graveyard much more to see no doubt.

One of the more neat things Tammy pointed out to me was two blue birds playing with one another. I mean these birds were pure blue and no they were not blue jays. Their seems to be many different bird species located in the cemetery so even if you visit here you will get more then just the grave markers since the cemeteries sit out on the edge of Virginia City.

We had a couple smaller cemeteries to check out one of them being the Storey County Public Burial Grounds.
