Hillside Cemetery was formed in the 1800s and is perhaps a place of many different crypts some with vines growing on them. The cemetery is historically registered and is one of the oldest in Ormond Beach.

Many different permanent guest reside here such as Gale Hamilton Stalker who was a politician. Also their is even a confederate soldier here by the name of Benjamin  Franklin Venters.  So definitely alot of history and prominent types of families.

Like most cemeteries in Ormond Beach this one seems to be haunted or perhaps at least have a feeling that at anytime something could jump right out at you. For such an old cemetery this is probably one of the best kept ones I have ever seen. Their are really no vandalized stones and things seem rather happy here unlike other places we have been to.
