Goose Hill Cemetery is now known formally as St
Johns. This cemetery sits on the top of a hill nestled in the back near
some very thick woods. The church is about a half mile up the road so we
have to assume that this is why the cemetery has changed names. The
cemetery dates back to the early 1800s I believe I saw a stone that said
1806 embedded in the ground. Some of the stones are written in German
inscriptions. This haunted cemetery is rumored to have strange shadows
running all about, whispers from the woods from various people who have
visited there. Our first visit we did not spend alot of time there that I
regret but this place has energy that is so overwhelming that even our
group could not stay long. It is very haunted very old and most of the
stones are broke in half, worn, laying deep in the ground some are leaning
against a couple trees. Our second visit we had all kinds of activity
ectoplasm shots, bright orbs, being touched, seeing something run into the
woods Ect. The spirits that are here seem to move very fast as well. Not
alot of folks know about this cemetery and it is not easy to find but it
is a treasure of paranormal activity.
Copyright By AngelOfThyNight-Rick Update: I received an email of a member who has many relatives buried here. She said they called this place Dutch Hollow cause of the large amount of German Ancestors buried here. They called this place Goosehill because at one time a farmer nearby raised Geese which of course makes sense now. The church at the bottom of the hill maintains this place and keeps it in very good shape. |
