The Dewitt Inc who owned a quarry near the park closed down in 1935 and later that area was used for recreation in the park. Till that company gave full permission to use the land as long as it was for recreation purposes. So with the help of volunteers a 38 acre stocked pond was erected, pavilions, playgrounds and what was the sandwash now was the Dewitt recreation area. They are planning to put in a observation tower and some more trails in this area of the park.  Also there is a amphitheatre for plays and such outdoors.

We were very lucky that Dwayne and his friends showed us the park which is not to far away from the Genesee Asylum. I was told that the Potters Fields reached all the way to the beginning of the park. Potters Fields are poor mans burials no stones, unmarked graves and where did these people come from? Very simple the asylum and poorhouse which is in the area. We did not explore the park or hike the trails we did not even have to venture far into the park to find out it was haunted. A lot of the activity seems to be around where the park first starts. So we did not have to go far to capture entities. This is a nice park but I can feel something was watching our group and I did not feel alone here. Like most parks this one made me uncomfortable it almost seems like there is a secret here a dark secret. Maybe a serial killer at one time roamed those woods? Maybe many bodies are buried in the woods? Or maybe due to the cult activity in the area is tainted with a darkness. 

Why I believe this is one of the members who joined our investigation that evening told me recently she visiting the parking lot at night. She parked the vehicle walked about 10 feet to a picnic area the area I heard some odd noises. She was just standing there relaxing when all of a sudden she seen a black mass moving towards her. They ran and took off to get away from it when a very old man almost like a rotting type of face got right in her face and told her to get the F*** out of there. She said there was no escaping this entity as it latched on to the vehicle in no time. They also told me there clock was 2 hours off sort of like there is missing time involved here or like something was playing around in there vehicle with the electronics. 

Was this a unhappy spirits from the nursing home near by which may have been buried in those woods?  Or did something follow them to the park and try and scare them? I give them credit for showing us the park after that incident after all something like that can be traumatic for some. Sometimes when something that bad happens it can change your whole perspective on life. Such as was this entity mad at me? Is this entity evil? Who is this entity? What really happened at this park? All mysteries and that is what our organization is here for we will show you the truth!
