Fort Stanwix

We headed off on some beautiful country to this 1700s fort. I was so excited about investigating this amazingly haunted place day or night its always haunted. At this time it was still raining but we decided to enter a museum nearby which was over 100 years old and although we did not investigate the museum I sure felt many ghost their. After checking out a few historical facts we hiked out to the great fort. We walked around it then crossed the moat and into the giant doors. It was gorgeous as their were many cannons, huts, barracks, stairs to various areas, tunnels and even a little outhouse. We had the whole fort to ourselves so we were able to do do a pretty thorough investigation. The one area that I sensed something in was the hospital where the injured were brought if I ever had any feelings of ghost it was there. Some other barracks were pretty interesting as well some had hay beds, tables, a chest board, a fire place Ect even the old work tools that were man made one I grabbed and it fell apart oops lol. The activity was very mild of course this is one of the most haunted forts but most of the energy it seems here is residual. Although i did manage to see a few apparitions with my eyes but for some reason they would not show up on digital apparently the residual energy is very week but one of the apparitions I seen in the barracks was that of a man or should we say soldier with a hat so that was interesting. We then spent sometime having fun climbing around and exploring we took some more photos and then Mark used the restroom and when he went to dry his hands something pushed the button on the dryer for him and it went on by itself. So little things like that seem to happen here. We had fun and after heading out of the fort we headed off to a little Italian restaurant and ordered pizza and wings it was fun. Then afterwards we headed to our next destination which is the Oriskany Battlefield State Historic Site.
