Forest House

We actually decided since it was a nice evening we would walk. So we took a pretty good hike about a mile away from the van an entered the forest house property. Rather then this looking like a house it looks more like a mansion the windows are very colonial looking or should we say the house looks very Victorian in nature. You cannot help but feel a sadness here at least that was my opinion. I did not like the upper floors I felt very stared at almost like being watched.

We entered the house and a group of guys could not stop staring at me I guess they never seen a ghost buster doing his job or they may have been looking for trouble. But we entered the kitchen hallway and area. It was ICE cold here between the hallway leading into the living room and halfway into the kitchen. At this point I could feel a presence of some kind It almost felt like we were greeted as soon as we entered the house. We explored most of the first floor their was a kitchen, dining room, living room, very small bathroom and stairs leading to a old carpeted basement. We did enter the basement. It actually was quite small 3 rooms mainly filled with junk old bikes, bottles things that are over 50-60 years old.  We took a few photos worked our way back up then decided to head to the second floor.

The second floor was much different I had the feeling almost like something was enjoying their afterlife here. Their was a long hallway with many rooms. In one corner was a thin entrance to the attic, another was a storage room and if you enter you could not get out because Jason was stuck in their lol. The 2 back rooms and long hallway bothered me some. I focused on them mainly. Both of the rooms were furnished the TV was setup, mattresses, a very nice table and chair it just felt different then the downstairs. The kitchen here was much warmer not like downstairs though. We then realized that the house was divided into 2-3 apartments. We headed out the room when I noticed a child's toy sitting on the table next to the toy was a letter folded in half with the name Eric I believe on it. I cannot remember what the note said but it was a parent writing to their child about them coming home late etc. I was pretty startled by the note. Because it looked very freshly written and the toy that was left next to it would be for a younger child under 10yrs old. Perhaps the child never got this note or perhaps the parent never came home but I feel something has happened here.

We worked our way to the attic it was very hot and this area was interesting as it was divided into 2 rooms and 6 hallways leading to dead ends. The attic was different from others all the wood was stained very dark it seemed at one point that someone perhaps stayed up their. We seen a Christmas tree laying on the floor, boxes, even some furniture and a desk. The attic was very very low in activity no noises or anything out of the ordinary. We then proceeded back down the steep wooden steps and downstairs and outside.

We took a few photos of the outside and were relieved to be back on the grass relaxing. This place drained me more then any other place out of all the places I visited in the Jamestown area. I did notice before leaving that again it got very ice cold near the kitchen and the hallway outside of the kitchen. We then decided to take our long walk back to the van to plan out our next investigation for tonight.
