Subj: [ParanormalFlorida] Last Night's Investigation Report   Date: 6/13/2004 10:57:52 AM Eastern Daylight Time  From: AngelOfThyNight@aol.com   To: ParanormalBuffalo@yahoogroups.com,  paranormalghostsociety@yahoogroups.com,  Paranormalflorida@yahoogroups.com   I was so glad to be able to do this investigation as for weeks I been wanting to check into the ghostly activity at this historical site. James and I spent a lot of time last night taking our time with this two phase investigation. The church itself had a lot to explain like a field, Sunday school area, back yard, court yard area as well. So lots of little areas to explore of course with a lot of history. We left fairly late at night to bring you a nice little story. The only obstacle we had was the police station across the street which we knew we had to take our time because of that obstacle or otherwise I would face interrogation by the blue doughnut munchers. It was a very warm night perhaps more humid then any night I have investigated on but because of that it made it easier to feel out the cooler spots and so our investigation began here. First Church Of Christ Scientist The first area we approached was the Sunday School which also had a little building behind it. James and I took a dark walkway to the gate leading to the back yard. We did not go in the yard just yet but rather to take a look get a feeling for things. We walked back out to the front of the church up the stone steps.. Nothing at first seemed very out of the ordinary. It was very peaceful but I still felt extremely watched. I took a walk in the court yard which is between the school and the church. You could see various candles or dim red lights in some of the stained glass windows. To the right was an office light on perhaps to me I thought it was unusual since the church only has 3 days a week services. We walked back around to the field and parking lot area. There was a bench I focused on and in back a giant willow tree this thing would make the creepy list. The branches were bent there was a ton of moss hanging off it most leaves were even brown or withered. Then after awhile we walked back to the front of the church and school. James seen something up on the schools roof looking down at us this was an area I captured some energy testing his accuracy it could not get any more true then this. We then decided to go in the back yard the grass was a little high and there was classrooms overlooking the yard including a small shed. I felt as if something was watching us walk around the dark yard peering quietly. In the back yard was a high concrete wall so the whole area was quite dark. We took a few photos it was quiet back here but discomfort started to set in as if we drew in some attention. We walked back around and started to focus the investigation at the court yard area which had a long walk way, very over grown, surrounded by stained glass and windows on both sides. I walked many times around the court yard noticing the patchy cold spots. Some cold spots were so bad I was freezing and keep in mind it was an 80 degree night. I noticed after about 5 to 6 times walking in front of the school and church we collected high EMF readings we realized that the ones in yellow we were getting were caused by a transformer near by and line leading to the school which is normal. But what was not normal was the high readings we were getting on the church concrete steps and the high readings near one of the trees. So we started to recording some very unusual EMF readings in various areas on the property. At one point we watched the readings grow to the dangerous level over a few seconds in time. James told me that he kept seeing us followed but most of the activity here seemed to be centralized on the church steps. I walked back around the side to a wheel chair ramp had a tree frog jump right in my face and miss me by inches. We then climbed over the rail walked down a little alley way the grass was high and I was covered in spider cobwebs but we still none the less had to check out behind the church and all areas. We then took a break for a half hour as three cops pulled in at the station wasting our good old tax dollars talking away wasting time. I did not mind the break we were able to sit look around often something most paranormal investigators do not do. I kept feeling something behind us eventually after waiting I retested the front doors and stained glass and still was getting a medium reading but it was not as consistent as the first time. We were about to wrap up the investigation when James seen a little boy on the stairs. He said the boy was crying and we talked to him. The little boy was crying because he was scared and had no friends. We calmed him and James said another little boy was stuck up in the tree behind us this I could feel since we were getting the highest EMF readings based around this tree. With a Sunday school and all at one time tihs was a place for boys to climb trees and play on the church grounds. Upon standing there James was looking at the top of the stairs and the main doors in the front of the church. He said an older man was looking at us. I told him to go up to him and ask him what he wanted. When he did he told me the older man said to him that he is glad we are here and would like to welcome us to come into the church. This is quite common with small churches where the pasture, priest Etc will greet members of his parish. I told the entity the doors are locked and I could not come inside James told me he vanished after this. We continued to take photos and feel out the cold spots although I honestly do not think we captured much on film there was so much activity here it was fantastic. I knew this place would be a jewel besides the fact that it sits next to another haunted location I visit so of course the entities would recognize me either way. In conclusion to our report we will return here for a second phase in about 6 months. It was nice to be able to bring James here because he is so clairvoyant when it comes to seeing the deceased. Then I go in validate it taking the EMF readings or feeling the cold spots so it works out quite well. The cold spots here were very amazing I believe on 3 different occasions here I was freezing in certain areas and the areas that were cold had the high EMF readings. So definitely there is something supernatural at one of DeLand's older historical churches. Peace, Rick
