Deerfoot Run is a sandy road that exist in a very wooded area. Most people who live there own mansions or ranches. It is one of my favorite areas to visit perhaps because it looks a lot different then the rest of DeLand. But it is the type of road that also has negative feelings perhaps because you know anything could happen here and nobody would know it since its very secluded. There is even one spot at the end of the road where there are signs of dumping, partying, etc.. not a very nice place to be spending time at during the night but perhaps  the incident that occurred here has compelled many curious folks to visit it.

Back in 1994 a murder of a cheerleader took place she did not come home from school a man had raped, murdered and dumped her somewhere along the road. I however did not investigate the road for publicity or to offend anybody who was a friend of hers. But rather I did it to give her spirit some sense of peace. To try and piece together what actually happened.  Sometimes when someone is murdered or a traumatic event like this occurs its very important for someone like our organization to come in and try to help calm the spirit. By letting them know its okay that they are not forgotten, that we realize they exist Etc.. But its not just that incident that occurred on the road that made us want to investigate it. Its the fact that its a real eerie road with feelings of many other bad occurrences that probably happened here over the years.

But what makes a road haunted is it perhaps burial grounds? Is it cursed land where the road runs through? Or is it the fact that many bizarre incidents take place here making it a place of horror. There is no doubt in my mind that the locals around here have not seen something once or twice while driving down the road at night. Since there is only one little street lamp for 1000 meters its a pretty dark area. Most houses sit back a few hundred feet or have long roads as driveways. Perhaps the whole road itself is mysterious as in some photos we caught dozens of orbs so there are signs that there is some supernatural energy at work here and now we bring it to you.
