Daytona Highlands

Trying to find a place to park here is a real pain in the ass but Mona found a place and then we walked here to take a few photos. I was taking a photo of the sign when a sprinkler showered me with cold water I was soaked. I then smartened up and went to the backside of this castle like structure.

I walked around the structure a few times. There were a few double doors made of wood with a rod iron bar locking them. All of us peered in the windows and I definitely could feel something here particularly higher up in the tower rather then inside the first floor of the tower.

Mona and I walked up a stairwell made out of stone to a rod iron gate which prevented us from climbing up the tower stairwell to higher levels. But I felt like something was standing up them dark stairs just watching us. It just felt very uncomfortable. I still wanted to get higher up in the tower though so I was a little disappointed as months ago I could have but I had no investigators or drivers.

Anyways we came back down and I walked around to another section of the structure. I stuck my hand in a rod iron window it was very cold in that room but I wanted to snap a photo see what was inside. It was just an empty room but its small windows made it hard to see in so that was my only option.

Eventually after walking around I took off alone and opened up the first floor for my investigations to come inside the tower and check it out with me. So we stopped inside the first floor of the tower and it had high ceilings with wood beams. There was some metal or rod iron type of chandelier looked more like it would hold perhaps candles to light the inside of the tower.

Inside there was a bunch of Christmas stuff and other things be stored here nothing excited. But it was very interesting being inside the towers first floor as I did not feel alone the one thing noticeable was that it was hot inside here. Maybe trapped hot air I do not know but there was a big temperature difference and that is strange because even my house gets almost as cold as it is outside.

We took some photos then went back outside and finished up the investigation talking about this place and taking a few more photos.

In conclusion to last night's report you can see we were very busy throughout the night. I cannot say it was one of the most active nights but with all of there we all had some kind of supernatural experience between all 6 places.

I do plan on returning to all these places perhaps even a total of three times a piece because they are very significant to Daytona Beach perhaps all of them tie into the history of the area in one way or another.

But not only that it was a special night where I reached a milestone, we had new investigators which they worked out well, and of course with the holidays here this is a NICE time of year to investigate. It does not matter if you see a ghost or not it comes down to one thing that a picture is worth 1000 words. So last night proved to be a very stellar and major investigation but we also had alot of fun visiting the beach side, parks, and even a medieval looking tower what more could a paranormal investigator ask for? I am a little tired after yesterday between the Christmas Parade Downtown, Working, and The Investigation but the trip was well worth making.
Cheers,

From the outside the only major energy I could sense was in the
tower. On the inside it felt very stationary and observant, but not
very strong. It was quite warm inside but the construction of the
building may count for that, although the windows were very simple and
of older construction style and I don't think they would keep in much
heat. Near the area that there was a barred window that Rick stuck
his hand in and took a picture I also sensed some residual energy,
although it was not well formed and I think that the architecture or
building material or something kept me from sensing thru the
structure.

All in all there was some activity at the places we went to, in
varying degrees. I am getting my film developed shortly and hopefully
have gotten some pictures worth talking about. I had a blast, it was
quite beautiful and relaxing walking in Daytona at night. I look
forward to the next investigation and to revisiting these places in
the future.
