Colby Memorial Temple was constructed in 1923 and still has its old Mediterranean  architecture.. This is the church where the local spiritualist can come together to worship god and spiritualism. At the temple the old tradition called the golden rule is followed here. Which means accepting personal accountability for all your actions just as you do onto to others as they do to you. The religion here offer you therapy for the mind, body and spirit. They also offer consolation on deaths mysteries. The church also relays messages from various spirit entities to manifest physical phenomena like table-tipping, levitation, spirit photography and automatic writing. The church offers many services such as workshops, ghost busting classes, meditations, prayer sessions and candle sessions.

Behind the temple is the Spirit Pond and Reverend Fogols Healing Park. Sometimes the church services are held here. Alot of the teachings are based on the fact there is life after death that is one of the main focuses here as well as folklore stories shared. Some people who attend are local while others are not members of the spiritualist camp .The Colby Temple owns the 55 acres of land which is Cassadaga itself that gives you an idea how small of a community it is.

When one member of the camp had cancer the church members helped raise money and blood for her treatment. Her insurance would not cover her treatment. The community believes when it heals others that it heals themselves. So everybody who is part of the camp works together to help those in need. This is the spiritual way being able to love your fellow neighbor. This is the power of Cassadaga.

With a church filled with such utopia it would be no wonder why it is haunted or has many ghost near by. There is alot of energy here and you can totally feel it just standing in front of the temples door. On the grounds of the temple are stone benches, a fountain, and Colby Memorial. Also next to the temple within the park is the Caesar Forman Healing Center which is a polygonal shaped building that is used for healing.
