Tonight i asked for an adventure and adventure is what we got lol it was nice to have Sara come along with Jason and I to help out with our investigation.. I am finally home safe and sound after a pretty unusual night of investigating. I am very tired so forgive me if this report sounds shady. We left the house about 7:30pm to visit the haunted house before dusk to get some front shots of it. Unfortunately we arrived on the road of the haunted house and I heard an odd noise it turned out I had a flat tire.  I was pretty upset by this because all of sudden on the way to this house I had one which really with the sun going down quick I was starting to worry. I did get the tire off in a matter of minutes then as we went to get the spare tire it happened to have a clamp that was so badly rusted it wouldn't budge. After my arm got scraped up a few times on the road I finally bent the clamp and the tire came crashing down on the same arm the one I use to hold my camera. We replaced the tired and I blew it up with air and moments after the spare tired started to leak luckily I found a gas station in a small town with fix a flat for sale. I bought some and it seemed to hold up quite well. Tonight we visited 3 places and after getting the whole tire situation handled I was persistent not to call it a night so we ventured on despite our obstacles.

The Carpenter House

This house i was so excited to find I read about it and thought that the possibilities of getting something on film are quite high. On the road I heard rumors there is a long drive way to the house so the first long drive way we started to walk down. At this point after our tire problems it was a big relief to just walk and get some fresh air. It had gotten quite chilly since we were up in the woods. The first driveway we walked for about quarter of a mile and it turned out to be a water well with many trails at the end leading into the woods. It was thick and there were many tire tracks like 4 wheelers come through there and of course I did hear one off in the distance. So we decided to turn back and go farther up the road to another driveway. We entered a block away another driveway and as we walked through some thick and woods we came to a bend. This road reminded me out of a something from the movie children of the corn. As for quite a ways there was corn growing on both sides. Off in the distance I seen a pulsating light this bothered me as to me it looks liked a craft hovering over some trees and not moving but as time had gone on since it did not move I started to assess that it was maybe an attenna although the pulsating when in a circular motion and of course most antennas at night are red blinkers. So we kept walking and I heard dogs barking in the distance I thought perhaps a wild dog or some farm dogs as you could make out a pitch black house off in the distance.

Upon getting to the end of the road I thought perhaps someone lived there at this point since we did see a f;icker in the yard like someone had a fire going and the house was in nice condition including the front lawn. So Jason quickly shined the light on the house and of course the dogs that sounded like on a lease now were on the loose like someone unleashed them on purpose. We ran down the road very fast and I could hear 1-2 dogs chasing up down the road it was quite intense being chased. After about an 8th of a mile I no longer heard the dogs perhaps they gave up there chase on us. But none the less it was quite intense since normally we stand our ground running is not something we do often. But the thought of a large dogs sharp fangs sinking into me tonight made me wish I was still working on the flat tire. We finally got to the main road and I decided to do one more drive up the road to find the haunted house.

I did pass by a house and this house 3 times that night passing it gave me some sort of vibes so I took the spotlight on the 3rd time passing and shined it on the house. At first I thought maybe some rednecks would come running out with shotguns but then noticed the shape of the house was very poor, and the upstairs window was missing so this was our house. Finally after all our difficulties we were able  to park outside and start focusing on investigating this place haunted by a female bride to be who looks out the upstairs window with her bouquet. Jason and I walked  up to the house and focuses on the upper windows then found a room in back of the house with chicken with many chicken cages. We worked our way into a side door of the house which led into a room leading into the kitchen, den and living room, basement, and dining room. We found a carcass of a giant raccoon the teeth on this thing were quite intimidating. The chandelier then started to move around on its own then Jason's camera rewound and all his picture he took from last weeks investigation were lost somehow and film was everywhere pouring out of the camera. Another obstacle or mishap tonight. Apparently something was trying to give us a message. We then proceeded to move around the house the kitchen had some very old kettles things they used 50 years ago and a old stove as well.

We worked our way into the downstairs rooms including the den and living room. Their were many tomato and banana boxes freshly folded for a autumn harvest. We assumed it was the farm down the road using the house as storage for the boxes.  We worked our way upstairs 2 the bedrooms which are suppose to be where the bride to be ghost appears. I did feel something upstairs in the first room. In the second room there was a bird or bat flying in circles. It was pretty funny actually because Jason and I were ducking like crazy as it missed our heads I couldn't even get in that room because the bird was guarding it eventually it flew out the window. This room had shelves and a closet. It felt a little uncomfortable here. As we worked our way back downstairs we found the basement. On our way down we found a bottle of formaldehyde. We thought to ourselves oh boy we got a real Jeepers Creepers on our hands lol as we entered into the steep wooden stairwell with low ceilings. Then I hit my head luckily there was no nails sticking up as we made our way down the maze like basement area. Right away we found a furnace it looked more like a crematory down there. Their was a shelf with 100s of old glass bottles, another storage room, and even another room with old lanterns hanging. The basement was not to high in activity although I did not like the way it felt. I had a feeling like something bad may have happened down here at one time.

We then worked our way back out of the house I noticed it getting very cold as we were leaving as if we had something following us you could almost feel movement. As we were outside we walked the property once again that front window just kept bothering me I felt watched no matter where we went. We did check out the old truck on the property and a garage that said flammable chemicals. We did not experience activity in this area but I felt like it was time for us to get going. Our luck near the house was not good all night so I can take a hint. As we left I said my goodbyes took another outside shot and then we left this very old tragic haunted house. I noticed before leaving there was a odd light in the den since there were drapes on the window it almost looked like one of the rooms was lit with a light/candle this caught my attention and I did walk up towards the house again. I thought to myself how can their be any lights when there is no electricity and we just came from inside the house. I asked Sara if she seen anything as she stayed in the car for this one and she said that there was a light on most of the time in that one room while Jason and I were exploring the property. Is this the Bride to be waiting for her groom? I did not like this house at all and I noticed with my digital photos some of the orbs I got on camera were in the one room the bride is usually seen looking out the window and before I left I got a photo with over 30 orbs at least which I thought was odd. None the less our persistence paid off and we finally got to investigate this place despite all the mishaps. Then we headed off to the Eternal Flame.
