Hello everybody I arrived back home last night a couple days early. I must say these have been the worst couple days of my life or close to it.  Unfortunately rather then it turning out to being a vacation it turned out to be two days of no rest and more running around then anything.

I left very early Monday morning to catch my plane and I do not fly so this was like a one time thing. I walked in the airport all looking bad ass and did not have no problems with security as I thought I would. Unfortunately I have had the flu all week so the idea of hating to be on an airplane and being sick makes things twice as bad. Well I arrived in Atlanta had moments to spare to catch a second plane so I ran through the airport since this airport has a mall, a subway that runs underground in it, police station the place is huge it took me almost 23 minutes to get to my other gate.

Well i arrived at the right gate and the lady said I am on time and that my plane leaves in a few. The problem she forgot to tell me is that they switched gates so I missed my plane all because she had her head up her ass. So I had to wait an hour to catch another one which instead of having a pretty blond and Asian flight attendant I was stuck with 2 male flight attendants with one who was singing in the microphone before take off.  They gave me unlimited coffee and snacks. When I reached NY state we hit a huge mass of clouds there was a lot of turbulence and the plane went into the clouds for a very long time the plane dropped and I lost almost all my hearing after that so trust me never fly if you have a cold.

I arrived downtown Buffalo and my luggage was waiting for me. They all must thought I was nuts dressed like I was ready for the beach and here it is really cold up north and overcast. I arrived at the hotel and it was very luxurious. A huge fountain in the front, sports bar, piano in the restaurant, marble floors, fancy furniture etc etc and I had a nice view from the 7th floor of downtown Buffalo and lake Erie.

About a hour of getting into town I did my TV interview it was very long and intense. They taped me for about an hour talking about 3 particular haunted locations on the history of them, about our group here, about methods, showed off a lot of photos and talked about each place. Through the interview I was fairly hoarse and could not talk so I feel pretty bad about that but it should air around Halloween I pulled it off. The original producer was supposed to give me the interview and had to take off last minute so someone else had given it to me. But ill let those know the channel and time it will be on as far the paranormal groups go.

After the interview I had called everybody to arrange plans for Tuesday nights big dinner and ghost walks. Then had to go to the D.A.'s office to talk to them and that last for a couple hours. It was probably the hardest thing I had to do in awhile since I had to relive the past of my friends death had to look at photos of his body, the evidence etc etc afterwards it was getting late and I still had not eaten all day.

I went to dinner at the Deco and trust me if you live in Buffalo or you visit there do not ever eat there. The restaurant is nice I mean but its for honeymooners candlelit tables, big paintings, dim lighting etc But it will cost you $25 dollars for an 8 oz steak dinner with a baked potato so its really pricey. I order some cheese tortellini that alone was $15 dollars and I had it gone in like 5 minutes then ordered a piece of Jack Daniels Cake. At that time all the people we just staring at me dressed casually pigging out. But 6 dollars for a piece of cake is crazy i guess i paid for the moon n stars on it lol.

Later on that night I investigated the hotel by myself I was very tired spoke with a few friends walked around. I do not think I caught any photos that were odd but I know the history of the area so it was pretty interesting since the hotel was quite empty since it was a weekday. I will say that I spent a long time walking down a few dark halls where the hotel was not in use. A few of those times I felt watched. I noticed in the grand hall my EMF detector went in the danger zone like something was moving around me. I went to my room a couple times then came back out and investigated some more and it was not hard to pick out the cold spots down some of the more secluded areas of the hotel.

I woke up Tuesday morning went for my morning walk taking some daytime photos for my ghost walk downtown that was planned for later.  I was not going to eat breakfast at the Deco and pay 10.00 for 2 pieces of bacon and eggs. So I found this cute little diner and had a nice big breakfast right near St Paul's Cathedral. Afterwards I visited St Paul's which I investigated 8 months ago before I moved to Florida. I am sure the holy water at this point was boiling but nobody was around just someone very young playing beautiful cathedral music while I was going around snapping photos. Then I went over to St Joseph's Cathedral and took some photos. There was nobody around pretty eerie really but I got to go inside so i can say I been indoors now as well.

I went back to the hotel to get ready for court to testify and like most of the time I got lied to. There was no lunch waiting for me as promised. Well the person broke down and claimed guilty so they no longer needed me to testify and without my knowing they booked me a flight out back to Florida with very little time to repack. So  I had to run back to the hotel pack right away and cancel on a ton of folks for the ghost walk and cemetery tour. I was pretty depressed about it all because honestly alot of them were members or people I have talked to for quite sometime on here. Then to tell them look I'm going home is very hard to do when originally I was supposed to go home Thursday. I had to even cancel my Wednesday fishing in the morning as well as dinner with some friends. So I pretty much did not get to have any fun whatsoever.

I arrived at Buffalo airport which makes me sick when I see this place because they make 80 year old women get undressed, take off shoes etc and for what Daytona does not do that. So anyways I  had to through security they gave me a little bit of a hard time had to take the belt off, have my shoes scanned this and that nothing but hassle. Then my flight arrived and to found out they were having wire problems so they would not board us. Eventually after 45 minutes they could not fix it so they boarded us anyways go figure. I lost most of my hearing the first half hour of the flight and the flight attendants could not hear me talk because I could not even hear myself so that was pretty rough. I banged my head really hard on the ceiling of the plane to go use the restroom got the whole 80 passengers on board laughing. I arrived in Atlanta they had a rough landing and they switched us at 3 different gates because it was so busy.

I then got off the plane again running with 10 minutes to spare. I come to find out again they switched gates so I ran to another one nearby. Well that plane was having a maintenance problem as well so they grounded it for 45 minutes they would not say what it was but the pilots were at the front desk for awhile. We finally took off this time I lost all my hearing it was gone and I was in a lot of pain. The pilot tried to make time so it was a 52minute flight right alone the ocean. It seemed like when we got near here the plane stalled out a little you could hear it go figure but they do glide i suppose. I arrived in Daytona pretty late it was perhaps the last plane to come in there so the airport was pretty empty. Then I got in late last night and that was that. So its been pretty bad the last couple days unfortunately Ill be due for another vacation real soon and maybe if i can get my book out ill be offered by a TV station more trips up there hopefully with more time to take a train next time or something.

I will have those who were going to come at the ghost walk visit them locations anything they get on film they can give to me and ill added it onto our site since its the least i can do since my trip was cut short earlier then expected. But anyways I'm back so I guess later ill be sending out articles, responding to emails things of that sort. Have a nice day!
Rick
