The Bowen House is a 100 year old home that is in the restoration process. I have seen this house for 2 years and finally decided to complete and investigation into the paranormal. The house currently is torn up as new walls, floors, stairs, windows are being installed. If you ever seen a movie with a rugged looking haunted house this would look similar. The house in the back has a workshop, there is a garage, a indoor porch and 2 floors of area to explore. I also noticed a small tiny passage that went underground this may have been and underground Railroad at one time as it led to a small tiny room made out of stone.

Is this house haunted? You bet it is! There is a lot of activity inside being followed, having the ghost inches from your face, moving cold spots, feeling watched are just a few of the symptoms felt in this house. Are the ghost evil probably not but they do make themselves known here and you can take it either way either they want visitors or they feel perhaps violated.

You can clearly see the age of the house as inside the walls is wood strips and all new supports have been added. Then we have an old tub inside and the floors are wooden planks. This may be one of the oldest houses in the area and although it is an enjoyable haunted house it is the type of house you have to be cautious in as the upstairs has holes in the floor and there is many areas that you have to balance yourself to walk across on. Beware if the ghost do not get you this house will.
