The Alpine Washoe Cemetery is an old Indian burial ground but it has other interments as well that are non native American which I believe is in a segregated part of the cemetery. Many of the graves here are not marked while some are blue and yellow in color amongst the massive alpine trees found throughout this burial ground. Some of the graves are written with Washo epitaphs its very interesting.  Strangely their are also some graves found outside of the cemetery especially found throughout some of the sage brush growing here.

The cemetery itself resides on a rugged dirt road up in the High Sierras it will always be special since it was my first cemetery ever investigated higher up in this mountain range. Due to its seclusion unlike most town or city cemeteries this one has some actual real solid paranormal activity.

Some of the activity includes high EMF readings especially in at least three sections of this graveyard. Its a very peaceful place most of the graves are littered with trinkets, toys, jewelry, knickknacks and flowers. However some of the graves are just wood post in the grounds or just a rock. We have come to the conclusion that whenever we read any of the epitaphs or addressed the gravestones we would get a solid reading. So the beings here are conscious and are aware they are deceased which is not always the case in most haunts.

The cemetery goes by a variety of names another one would be the Woodfords Indian Burial Ground or The Old Alpine Village Graveyard. There is a real eerie feeling that surrounds this place not sure if its the flag that is half mast or if its the fact that many of the stones sit under these giant alpine trees which make the place even darker at night. Many of the veterans buried here have flags however most of them are ripped and should be replaced.

The cemetery was formed around the mid 1800's when Alpine County was formed. Alpine County at least 96 percent of it is public land for hiking, camping, boating and exploring. This cemetery resides at the edge of the sierras with a mix of high desert and alpine woodland. There are over 200 interments buried here including a segregated section surrounded by barbed wire and a makeshift gate.

Other then this I have no further information on this location other then its a must see if your into historic cemeteries of the Sierras.

This interview is in regards to the Washoe Tribe that has shown us racism, hate and threats. This is my response The Paranormal & Ghost Society does not condone hatred as a matter in fact we have shared allot of history and culture of the tribe as well as done restoration work at many of their sites. We deserve to be treated with peace and dignity thus for those tribal members committing such acts here is my response on a viral level to protect myself along with our other volunteers. Below are the videos from our investigation but also honoring the cemetery itself. They are not disrespectful and should not be treated at all with hate but rather as an educational resource. We love the native American people that is why we visit such sites to honor them.
