13 Curves almost every state has a treacherous road surrounded by haunting tales of ghostly hitchhikers, tragic accidents, and eerie occurrences. However this road may be one of the more unsolved mysteries to the paranormal world. I have heard about this road years previously and I made it a goal to walk one night down its twist and turns. Although it was in the middle of a snow storm it is still in my person opinion one of the creepiest roads I have ever drove or walked down. On one side of the road is a little creek that twist and turns, on the other is a steep canyon wall. Much of the road is wooded, fields, and curvy. But there is one place in the 2 miles of road that is very steep and has a series one after another of curves.

I spent a long time trying to figure out the best area to investigate since this is a long road. I drove back and forth focusing thinking about the curves the most dangerous spots to pinpoint the tragedy that occurred many years ago. Sometimes in order to be a good investigator you have to be the victim and put yourself in place by reenacting the incidents. This is what I did as I drove down the stretch of road then back finally finding the location where I believe the legend is told about the ghostly bride which is said to be seen walking the road with her lantern on a moonlit night.

The ghost story goes like this in the 1940s on a couples wedding night they were driving down the curves and turned wrong on one. The couple plunged into the creek and both of them died tragically. However this is a true fact that the accident did happen according to another parapsychologist in the 1970s. Alot of the locals claim to see the ghost bride while some locals say its just an urban legend as one local said she made up the story as she tried to scare her kids on a Halloween night with sheets and a flashlight. But those that have ventured out to look for her have said they have seen her according to a group of 4 who said they spent one evening driving up and down the road and then all of sudden she came up to the car with the lantern and disappeared into the night. So there definitely is something supernatural that is occurring on the road and perhaps some of us are just there at the right time and place while others like myself are out here to seek the truth for our own knowledge and know how. Maybe we will not know the answers totally as to who is the bride, why does she still look for her groom, does she know she is dead? It is questions such as these that raises are curiosity even enough to roam such a dangerous road where most men dare not walk when the sun disappears beyond the horizon.
